Late State Capitalism

"Late capitalism" is a term used to describe the current stage of capitalism, characterized by globalization, consumerism, financial speculation, and high levels of wealth inequality. Originally a Marxist concept for the final, unstable phase before a potential revolution, it is now widely used, especially on social media, to highlight the perceived absurdities and inequities of the modern economy, such as expensive healthcare, extreme wealth disparities, and corporate capitalization on social issues.
